Earwig Control
Earwigs gather in damp areas — mulch, planters, and around the foundation — then wander into bathrooms and entryways looking for moisture.

How earwigs get inside
- Cracks where the foundation meets the slab
- Damp doorways and threshold gaps after irrigation runs
- Window wells and basement vents
- Bags of soil, mulch, or potted plants brought inside
When they're most active
Earwigs are most active in spring and early summer when nights are still cool and soil is damp from irrigation. They retreat deeper into mulch in peak summer and resurface in fall.
What you can do before we get there
A few quick things you can do today that'll make any treatment — ours or your own — work better.
- Move mulch and planters at least 12 inches from the foundation
- Adjust sprinklers so they don't soak the perimeter every night
- Fix slow drips at hose bibs and AC condensate lines
- Clear leaf litter and damp debris from window wells
