Crusader Pest Control (“we”, “us”) is a locally owned pest control company in Apple Valley, California. This page explains what information we collect, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices and rights you have.
What we collect
- When you book an inspection or contact us: your name, phone number, email address, the property's address, the type of property, the service you're interested in, and anything you write in the notes.
- When you become a customer: your service address and plan, your appointments and service history, the products applied at your property, notes from our technicians, your signed service agreement, and your billing history.
- Payments: card and bank payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card or account number; we keep only the card brand, the last four digits and the expiration date.
- Messages: texts and emails you send us, and your replies to our texts (for example, which days work for a visit, or a rating after a service).
Why we use it
- To contact you about your inspection and schedule your visits.
- To provide the service: appointment confirmations and reminders, the treatment notice California requires after each application, invoices and receipts.
- To take payments you've authorized.
- To answer your questions and keep records of your service.
- To ask how your service went, and occasionally whether you'd leave us a review.
Text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may text you about your inspection, appointments, reminders, billing and your service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. We do not share your phone number or your consent to receive texts with any third party or affiliate for their marketing purposes.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't use analytics services that follow you across the web. The customer portal and our staff system use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in.
Who helps us handle your information
We use a small number of service providers, only to run our business: website and database hosting (Vercel, Supabase), text messaging (Twilio), email delivery (Resend), payments (Stripe) and maps and address lookup (Mapbox). They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
We don't sell your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you're a customer and afterwards for as long as we need it for our records, including pesticide application records we're required to keep by law. Inquiries that don't become service are deleted on request.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have about you and how we use it.
- Delete your personal information, except what we must keep by law.
- Correct information that's wrong.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We don't sell or share it, but you can still ask us to confirm.
- Not be treated differently for using any of these rights.

Children
Our services and this website are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the effective date above.
